Fish farming

Fish farming is one of the biggest source of pollution throughout the world. Fishes consume a lot of oxygen and produce solid bio waste which can act like a fertilizer to the water they are in. Especially areas where the water is not changing regularly, the quality of the water becomes bad fast. In these cases the amount of dissolved oxygen (DO) decreases. Usually DO lack will hit first to the bottom layers of the water.  This will start unwanted bacteria and specimen growth on the bottom of the water body.

LakeAlive can help to prevent this development by helping to increase the DO in the water effectively and by collecting the pollute sludge, further developing the waste into energy (gas, electricity, heat).
